So it's true, Britney will be releasing a new album winter 2008, possible album name's are "Hurricane", "Touch", "Don't Blame Me", "No Good" or "Anniversa", a source tells BritneyFM.com. Britney will also be doing a new photoshoot for the promo of her new album. We'll keep you guys updated if we have more information!

Paparazzi's snapped these exclusive pics of our girl Brit at a public beach in Samara, which is on the Guanacaste Peninsula on Costa Rica's pacific coast. She's currently on day two of her vacation with Mel Gibson, and it looks like she's enjoying the sun and sand and getting a killer tan. Click the picture above the acces the entire set.

Lynne Spears, the mother of Britney Spears and Jamie Lynn Spears and OK! were amongst the early morning crowd waiting outside the Today show studios in NYC's Rockefeller Center to hear the New Kids on the Block perform together for the first time since 1994.

The mother of two of this year's biggest headline-making stars headed to the special VIP area, where sources tell OK! she was a guest of the reunited boy band. Unfortunately, neither of Lynne's two concert companions were her daughters.

After all, Britney is busy vacationing in Costa Rica with Mel Gibson, while Jamie Lynn is home in Kentwood, La., awaiting the imminent arrival of her first child.

So why on earth would the middle-aged Lynne be backstage at a New Kids concert? Turns out that Britney used to be managed by NKOTB manager Johnny Wright.

Is Adnan Ghalib, the former paparazzo boyfriend of Britney Spears, trying to make one last grab at Britney Spear's cash? The National Enquirer is reporting that he's shopping around a sex tape that was filmed during their trip January trip to Rosarito, Mexico.

"Word is that the video starts with Britney undressing," said the insider. "She was wearing some cheap clothes that she bought down there in Rosarito. The sex wasn't particularly kinky but Britney wears a pink wig throughout. At one point in the tape Adnan asks the singer to remove the pink bob but she refused. "Adnan tells her to take it off at one point and she says coyly, 'Take what off? There's nothing left to take off.'"

Even though Britney Spears' second guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother has come and gone, it's still the top item on everyone's list of questions for show co-star Alyson Hannigan.

"Was she acting all crazy on the set?" asked Jimmy Kimmel, who was filling in for Regis Philbin on Friday's Live With Regis & Kelly. "Not at all," said Alyson. "She's very funny... very lovely and polite."
Recounting the pop star's time on the HIMYM set, Alyson recalled, "She really liked my little dog... They bonded. My puppy got to kiss Britney Spears!" While co-host Kelly Ripa suggested that Hannigan "never wash that puppy again," Jimmy was a little more forward, saying, "I hope Britney doesn't end up pregnant!"

Rumours have been swirling around the world after the singer’s stomach swelled and she spent two hours in a health clinic. But a spokesperson claims: “I want to make completely clear that Britney is not pregnant. There’s not going to be a statement – she’s just not.” A pal also explained the appearance of what looks a baby bump. The friend said: “It’s a mix of water retention, unflattering clothes and people liking to analyse everything she does. “Britney’s getting herself together slowly but surely and isn’t going to mess that up. “She’s far too busy to even be thinking about a baby right now.”

Well, its still The Sun though.. but why would they lie about being NOT pregnant? right?

So, it is true!  Britney is out on a short trip to Costa Rica together with her father, Jamie Spears. Britney arrived at the airport in San Jose, Costa Rica at about 3:20 PM, yesterday. Apparently, they headed to Mel Gibsons' house in  Esterones de Guanacaste (wich is nordwest from the airport) where daughter and father will be staying. According to breatheheavy.com, she was dressed in white and blue and was in good spirits but a bit tired.  She also didn't want any on-lookers and hid behind a huge umbrella. They'll be staying there for several days.
